My boyfriend made me some delicious, flavorful pasta fagioli last night. Yum yum!
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tsp dried parsley flakes
- 1.5 tsp Italian seasoning
- a dash of crushed red pepper
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- 2 medium tomatoes, peeled and chopped
- 1 8 oz can of tomato sauce
- 1/2 C pasta
- salt to taste
- oregano to taste

You can also add beans. We did not because my boyfriend detests beans. And honestly, it tasted wonderful without them- so, I decided to leave them out of the recipe.
