We wanted to have a big vegan wedding but my parents refused to pay for it if we wouldn't serve meat and cheese. So now we are having a simple stress free wedding in Tahoe with only our parents, siblings, and my Aunt. We are having a small vegan cake from a local vegan bakery, we are getting our flowers from the grocery store up there, and my sun-dress was purchased on sale 2 years ago! My fiance and I have both been vegan for years and plan to continue that way in our life. We wanted to have a big vegan wedding but my parents refused to pay for it if we wouldn’t serve meat and cheese.
